Supplying real-time infrared satellite data for global wildfire detection and monitoring.

OroraTech is developing a constellation of 100 nanosatellites with infrared sensors for global applications such as early wildfire detection and monitoring, tracking of extreme weather conditions and climate change research. The company is a spin-off from the Technical University of Munich, supported by DLR, ESA and private investors. By utilizing a novel patented CubeSat framework and a patent-pending camera in the thermal infrared range, our solution will be highly cost-efficient and adaptive.
